Chief Executive Officer
Xavier Barbaro is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Mines de Paris and holds an MBA from Harvard. He began his career with LDCom in 2001, before joining Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Geneva as an attaché of the CEO. He was in charge of the business plan and conducted several projects in Asia, particularly in the biofuel sector. Xavier joined Direct Energie in 2007 as director of development and founded Neoen in 2008.
A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Romain Desrousseaux began his career with LDCom where he led the investment program in broadband internet. In 2008, he joined the Louis Dreyfus Commodities Group, first as Deputy Director of Information Systems. After two years, he took the helm of the Africa and Middle-East region. In January 2013, Romain joined Neoen as Deputy CEO in charge of developing international projects.
After ten years in innovation and product development at France Télécom, Paul-François Croisille became head of Marketing of the Spanish operator Uni2. In 2000, he joined LDCom, where he developed transmission and communication services for operators. In 2003 he launched the French arm of Swisscom Hospitality Services, a subsidiary of the Swiss operator, before taking control of global operations in 2006. He joined Neoen in 2010. Paul-François graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique, is a Telecommunications Engineer and holds an MBA from Harvard.
Olga graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, attended the Paris IEP (Institute of Political Studies) and qualified as a corporate lawyer in Paris. She began her career in Moscow in 2000 at the European Business Club (association defending the interests of European companies in Russia) before joining Bureau Francis Lefebvre. Admitted to the Paris Bar of lawyers in 2006, she was appointed to the Paris office of Cleary Gottieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, responsible for complex operations on an international scale. Olga joined Neoen in 2018.
Chief Financial Officer
Serge Stepanov graduated from Mines de Paris, holds an MBA from Harvard. He has over than eighteen years of experience in operations and finance. He started his career with Danone in Russia, before moving to France and then Asia. He joined Louis Dreyfus Commodities in 2007 where he handled business development and corporate treasury in North America. In late 2010, Serge was appointed CFO of Biosev in Brazil, the IPO of which he completed in 2013. Serge joined Neoen in 2014.
