Bpifrance is the French national investment bank: it finances businesses – at every stage of their development – through loans, guarantees, equity investments and export insurance. It supports innovation and overseas expansion thanks to a wide range of products and services. Bpifrance is particularly committed to renewable energy, having invested some €2.2 million to finance energy transition. It sees companies in this sector as catalysts for French competitiveness.
The balance sheet total was almost 3.4 billion euros at end of December 2019. An increase of 32% compared to the previous year, this figure represents the investment in the group’s power plants, in operation or under construction in 2019.
Neoen's revenues in 2019 amounted to €253 million, up 22% compared to 2018. This growth, mostly organic, is mainly due to the full-year contribution of the assets commissioned in 2018 and the entry into operation of nearly 370 MW in 2019.
Neoen has been consistently profitable since 2011.
